Introduction

The Donauradweg cycle path follows the Danube from its source in Donaueschingen to its end in the Black Sea. This page covers from Donaueschingen to Passau. Bikeline's estimate of the this distance is 595Km.

Our plan was to cycle this first part (see spreadsheet below) in 8.5 days (average 70Km/day) with no rest days, then, a few weeks later, to cycle the second part and the first bit of the third part.

In reality, for this part, we cycled 627Km in 8.5 days (average 74Km/day) with no rest days.
