Introduction

The Donauradweg cycle path follows the Danube from its source in Donaueschingen to its end in the Black Sea. Part 3 covers from Wien to Budapest. Bikeline's estimate of the this distance is 334Km. This page currently covers only as a far as Bratislava, a distance of 71Km.

Our plan was to cycle the first part then, a few weeks later, to cycle the second part and the first bit of this third part (see spreadsheet below) in 1 day (average 71Km/day) with no rest days.

In reality, for this part, we cycled 78 in 1 day (average 78Km/day) with the planned rest days.
