Introduction

The Fünf-Flüsse ("Five Rivers") Cycle Route is a varied circuit through the heart of Bavaria, which offers typical images of this region. ( Quoted fromWikipedia.) Bikeline's estimate of the distance is 311Km.

Our plan (see spreadsheet below) was to cycle the distance in 5.5 days (average 57Km/day) without rest days.

In reality, I cycled 373Km in 5.5 days (average of 68Km/day).

• fünf-flüsse-waypoints-camps.gpx and fünf-flüsse-route-combined.gpx were both generated from the other two files using scripts in the traveltools repository; they are provided here for convenience
