Introduction

The Romantische Straße (German for Romantic Road) goes from Würzburg and Füssen in Southern Germany. This region is thought by many international travelers to possess "quintessentially" German scenery and culture. ( Quoted fromWikipedia.) Bikeline's estimate of the distance is 428Km.

Our plan (see spreadsheet below) was to cycle the route in reverse in 8.5 days (average 50Km/day) without rest days.

In reality, we cycled 505Km in 8.5 days (average 69Km/day).
